Project Overview:
Suzhou SEC Funworld is a large-scale urban complex project, conveniently located near Huachao Station on Shanghai Metro Line eleven and S1 Line with a total investment of approximately ¥5.5 billion yuan (~$771 millions USD). Project Details:
Bimodelling built a comprehensive Revit model based on contractor-provided drawings to identify and resolve issues, optimize the all-professional piping layout, and address potential gaps in the traditional drawings of the 2D pipeline design layout. By integrating secondary MEP system and interior design drawings, the model was further developed to detect clashes between interior finishes and other disciplines in each area, helping to avoid costly rework in the design phase.

2.Clash Point Detection

Bimodeling leveraged the BIM model to perform advanced clash detection, where the system identified and analyzed conflict points within the construction documents as well as collaborating with all stakeholders to resolve these discrepancies, significantly enhancing the overall construction quality. For example, in the following clash case, the clash detection revealed a conflict between the sump and the pile cap. After discussion among departments, the solution was to reduce the area of the pile cap.
